User Reviews

Overall, Merge Fever Town splits reviewers. Fans of merge games appreciate the core merging puzzle and call it brain-stimulating and a must-try. However, many players feel it’s a generic copy of other merge/cooking games with little originality. Recurrent pain points include clutter from bubbles after merges (needing ads or gems to clear), a bottom banner that shrinks the play area, and questionable progression rewards. A few also report audio glitches. In short: solid mechanic for genre fans, but UX, balance, and originality issues dampen the experience.
Pros
  • Engaging merge puzzle mechanics that appeal to fans of the genre.
  • Some players find it a must-try and fun/brain-stimulating.
  • Familiar progression system that fans of merge games may recognize and enjoy.
Cons
  • Feels like a generic, copycat merge/cooking game with little originality.
  • Bubbles after merging create screen clutter and require ads or gems to clear.
  • Bottom banner/UI shrinks the play area and hinders play.
  • Progression rewards don't scale with cost and the storyline ends abruptly around level 48.

I was led to believe that their would be a game to match the ads I’ve seen. So far, the graphics don’t. Nothing I’ve played on here matches the ads. The play board is super tiny. It’s hard to figure out what is being used to purchase upgrades. The game play of a table with drinks to match up does not line up with this game or the graphics. This is copying ever other merge cooking game now. Same mini games, quests, whatever it is. Nothing original.

It will show you a game of sliding drinks into one another and then do a boring tap and merge game. Like a million other games.
