Chat Archive turns the content included in an export into a readable, searchable conversation outside WhatsApp. Messages, senders, dates, photos, files and voice messages stay together in the context where they were sent.

Use Chat Archive to

• Keep an independent, readable copy of personal or work conversations you chose to export.
• Find an important message, decision, address, receipt, photo or file.
• Search messages and transcripts. Within one conversation, refine by sender, date, time, weekday, file type or name, and nearby context.
• Play included voice messages and turn supported voice messages into text on your device.
• Create readable PDFs to consult, print or share when you need them.

How it works

1. In WhatsApp, export a conversation you want to keep.
2. Open the exported ZIP in Chat Archive.
3. Review the conversation, search for details, check the included media and preview the complete PDF in the app.

Save what matters

Select one message, several messages or a whole day. Create Saved sets, add optional titles and organize them with reusable Labels across conversations. Search Saved, return to the original context and export one Saved set as its own PDF. The complete Saved feature is free.

Try it with your own conversation

Import for free and check your conversation, search results, media thumbnails, voice messages and the complete PDF preview. With full access, you can also save, share or print the PDF for the full conversation.

Privacy and trust

Imported conversations are processed locally on your device. You choose which files to open, review the imported content and can see what your copy contains.
