User Reviews

Overall, Itchy for Scratch is praised for smooth performance, easy navigation, and strong mobile usefulness, with some reviewers noting clearer profile and comment UI and innovative features like local multiplayer. However, the most repeated issues are playback problems when hitting the green flag and intermittent crashes or exits, sometimes related to permissions. A few users also request improvements such as iPad/mac support, fullscreen/project scaling, and editing capabilities. In short: promising app with solid usability; stability and playback reliability need attention.
Pros
  • Smooth performance and easy navigation on mobile.
  • Handy for Scratch on the go; makes testing projects without a computer feasible.
  • Clearer profile and comments UI, with improved information display compared to Scratch.
  • Local multiplayer feature is innovative.
  • No ads and no subscription required (free use) with a built-in web extension.
Cons
  • Green flag / project playback sometimes won’t start.
  • App can crash or kick the user out unexpectedly (stability issues), including permission-related crashes.

This is really frickin good but it would definitely be better if we could remix projects and have a built in keyboard for those keyboard projects

8 months ago, I recently released my first and very own major project, but I have problems with Apple’s double tap feature on anything that’s a browser, Apple had their OS’s to when the user double taps a point of the screen, it zooms in right there, and that what makes the scratch site non touchscreen friendly and it very annoying. surprise my third time searching scratch on the App Store, I came across this app, and the screenshots and reviews made it look promising, I’m now noticing it has no ads, plus no subscription required. And let me tell you, I actually never regretted getting app, because it gives you a build-in web extension for free. This will be the perfect application to test my project when I don’t have a computer (at least until I do get a computer tbh). You are most welcome to get a five star review
