【Key Features of Security Talk】
■ Private Network
The network used is separated by individual contracts, and communication with other contracted apps is not possible. Additionally, calls with external communication apps are not allowed. Communication is limited to users with the same contracted app.
■ P2P Communication
The communication network is primarily based on P2P, where devices communicate directly, leaving no records on the server.
※ In some cases, communication may pass through SFU or STUN/TURN, but even then, communication content is not stored on the server.
■ Encrypted Communication
All communications are encrypted to prevent eavesdroppers from discerning the content of the communication stream.
■ Information Used
The app only uses authentication information and device tokens. These are solely utilized for app permission and initiating communication with the intended recipient. No information such as registered details or history is transmitted externally.
■ In-House Management
While it's possible to use our in-house servers for authentication, you can also conveniently utilize external services. The authentication server registers only encrypted authentication information without personal data, ensuring measures are in place to address any potential leaks.
■ Impersonation Prevention
To prevent unauthorized use of your device for calls or answering, there is a "Lock Function." It requires the input of a user authentication key (password) during outgoing or incoming calls, ensuring that only the authorized user can communicate through the app. This prevents third parties from using your device without permission.
■ Brute Force Attack Prevention
If the user authentication key is entered incorrectly more than a specified number of times, a certain interval is required before re-entry. Moreover, in case of repeated errors, the app can only be used again by resetting (reinstalling) it. In this scenario, all information is deleted, and recovery is not possible.
■ Screenshot Prohibition
When a screenshot is taken on an iOS device, a warning is displayed to all participants in the communication, prompting attention.
■ Calls
One-on-one voice calls, video calls, and text chat are supported.
■ Lock Function
Until the user authentication key is entered, outgoing calls are restricted, and during incoming calls, the caller's information is not displayed. If the input is not completed within the specified time, the communication will be disconnected. Additionally, if the lock function is used for outgoing calls, the call will be disconnected if the recipient is not using the lock function.
■ Call History
The app's call history is retained in the device's call history for both the app and smartphone. However, deleting the call history in the Security Talk app also simultaneously removes it from the device's call history.
■ Room
Create rooms similar to web conferencing rooms for multi-person video calls and chat.
■ Record Deletion
Upon the conclusion of communication, records of video and chat content are immediately deleted and not stored within the app or elsewhere.
■ Entry Restrictions
For organizations, departments such as "sections," "divisions," or "teams" can be configured, enabling entry restrictions on a per-department basis.
