Quiz Games & Trivia - Quizoria

I purchased Quizoria premier version as I enjoy trivia and from the description thought this was a fun app. Unfortunately, I quickly discovered several issues. After completing Level 1 and answering 4-6 questions, the app is interrupted by displaying a splash screen advertising two other apps. Each screen advertises an app and displays a timer in the upper corner. The player has to wait till the timer reaches zero at which point another screen with another timer appears. Only after both screens are viewed does the user get returned to the Quizoria app. This cycle reoccurs after you play another 4-6 questions. It’s most annoying! I thought I got the premium version to avoid these pesky ads. As such, this requires interruption of the game ruining any enjoyment which I thought was the purpose. I tried contacting the app developer through the Apple App Store and am still awaiting a reply after days. I know most apps have ad teasers which last only a few seconds and don’t severely impede use of the downloaded app. But Quizoria is ridiculous with no way to disable these annoying and pesky interruptions. I thought the purpose of Quizoria was to have fun. It’s miserable. This, plus the failure of the developer to respond in a timely manner and no description in the app in the App Store by the developer of these annoying interruption screens. I also receive several push notifications to play the game. When I select a play category I am often re-presented with the same questions. My IOS is up to date and searches on Google were fruitless to address the issues. For these reasons, I am compelled to leave the lowest rating. If the developer responds and fixes Quizoria, I might reconsider leaving a higher rating. I’m deleting Quizoria.

Quizoria could use some work. The questions requiring filling in boxes from scrambled letters are especially annoying. Often those questions simply present a picture with no further explanation. One such picture revealed an astronaut standing on the moon. Six boxes were provided for the correct answer—although, technically, no question was asked. The player was given the following 12 letters from which to form the solution. p, W, L, A, X, Z, T, L, O, O, Y, A. (The “p” among the scrambled letters was actually lower case for no apparent reason.) I still don’t know what six-letter word the developers are seeking. (“LALOOp” is evidently wrong.) Frustratingly, if your response is incorrect, you’ll never be shown the proper answer. Moreover, if you realize you’ve made a mistake, there’s no option to backspace and correct your error. Although I downloaded a lifetime access subscription as part of a promotion, the app inexplicably continues to ask if I wish to view an advertisement. (Spoiler alert: I don’t.) And I have no idea what any of the coins and points are about, but I presume the people who populate the leaderboards are fictitious characters included to stimulate a competitive impulse in the user. All that said, the developers present a fairly large variety of questions and playing the games can become addictive.
