Exile Companion is an unofficial Path of Exile tool that streamlines trading. Use OCR to scan any item, instantly retrieve trade prices, and view live currency data with trend charts and a built-in converter. Every operation runs on-device by default for privacy, with an optional Cloud Vision API for difficult items. It supports PoE 1 and PoE 2, and is designed with console players in mind so you can trade on Xbox, PlayStation, or PC without extra addons.

The app also includes a campaign guide with progress tracking, boss tips, and quest rewards highlights for planning runs. A Waystone danger checker provides real-time camera scanning for PoE 2 threats. It supports eight languages and is designed for mobile-friendly use during trade runs. Note: this is an unofficial companion app and not affiliated with Grinding Gear Games.

Users like the app for console-focused price checks and note improvements since launch. However, key recurring problems include camera quality, intrusive ads and a paywall, incomplete/incorrect data with manual entry needs, and overall unreliability in performance and searches. Some currency data is also missing for certain items or platforms. These issues repeatedly hinder usability, despite positive sentiment toward ongoing development and the pricing insights the app provides.

Recent reviews

This app would be 5 stars if the ads weren’t so bad. Every time and ad pops, it’s at least 2-3 minutes of ad before you can get back to what you’re doing. I can’t imagine the dev opted for this, as it makes the app a total pain to use. If I had to guess, advertisers are abusing the unity ads platform by making impossible to skip ads far too long.
