HeySyrian: Where Syrians Meet

The concept behind this app is really good, the idea of meeting Syrians around is really exciting. However there are issues when it comes to the execution. The interface is your regular dating app template which is not bad and usable. Where I do find an issue is with the limitations that come with the free account. While the concept is nice, the amount of profiles isn’t large enough to make the user come back to it therefore it shouldn’t treat itself as if it is. The most frustrating thing with the app is that it counts a left swipe to your daily swipes, which no other dating app does. You can finish your swipes for the day having not liked anyone. I hope that is simply a bug and not planned, because I’m way more inclined to delete my profile and install another dating app than pay the outrageous prices that it charges to get a few likes. This app also has prices that match other dating apps that have a better reputation. This app could be very successful, but now it’s in a place it shouldn’t be. You need to make it more welcoming to users, so the base can grow, then you can start adding the limitations that it has. However, if it stays as it is, I’ll fail in no time.
