EcoTweaks generates easy, eco friendly tweaks to your food shop to help you live more sustainably without any extra effort. As you accept small EcoTweaks you will see your saved carbon emissions grow!

EcoTweaks focuses on tweaking your food purchases, with some bonus EcoTweaks like daily top tips, and it answers questions like: when is the greenest time tomorrow to run your appliances?

HOW IT WORKS

• Add items to your shopping list or use the barcode scanner to scan items in real-time
• Generate swaps (or "EcoTweaks"!) for your shopping list, which are similar, alternative items you could buy instead, but with a smaller carbon footprint.
• Accept the EcoTweaks that you find the most interesting! There is even information on where to buy the new item and how to cook it to make the swap as easy as possible.
• When you go shopping, bank your savings! That is the moment when, without even thinking about it, you have saved carbon and lived greener than you would have before.
• Watch your carbon savings grow in the tracker!

The shopping list is reusable every week with unlimited flexibility. Use the same EcoTweaks next week if you loved them, reset them all and make completely different ones next time, or undo individual EcoTweaks for full customisation.

EAT SEASONALLY

• EcoTweaks also suggests seasonal swaps! If you put an item on your list that is currently out of season, EcoTweaks will generate similar, alternative items that are currently in season. Eat fresher, tastier, and often cheaper food without thinking about it, saving the planet in the process.

WIN TROPHIES

• As you make EcoTweaks and bank savings, you will win trophies as you hit different milestones. Maybe soon you will have saved carbon emissions equivalent to a whole year's worth of driving, or a short haul flight, just by making small tweaks to your shopping list...

BARCODE SCANNER

• If you choose to be an EcoTweaks Supporter, you get access to the barcode scanner so that you can add items to your shopping list and generate greener alternative items in real-time. Grow your carbon savings on the go!

BONUS FEATURES

• Find out what time today and tomorrow electricity is the "greenest" in the UK so that you can run your dishwasher or washing machine then, living greener without any extra effort. Depending on your tariff, you could even save money by doing this.
