Round the Corner – Your Local Community, Just Around the Corner

In the age of global social media, we're returning to what truly matters – the people who live right next door. Round the Corner was created to help you discover neighbors, share important places, and build authentic relationships with people who are truly close. We're not interested in reach on the other side of the world. That's why the app's community reach is intentionally limited – to make it easier to meet those you can meet face-to-face. The most important bonds grow where you can say "hey" while standing in line at the bakery. It's a space that helps you discover that the most important things are often just around the corner.

What can you do at Round the Corner?

Meet your neighbors See who lives nearby and start building relationships – from a smile on the staircase to shared ideas. Chat directly Message people in your neighborhood privately. No walls of anonymity, no random news from the end of the world—just local, real conversations. Discuss on the forum The neighborhood forum is a place where we discuss common topics—from road repairs, to recommended places, to neighborhood initiatives. Post ads Sell, swap, give away, lost/found—simple, close, and without intermediaries. Neighborly. Create and join events Neighborhood meetings, joint activities, workshops, walks, plant swaps—whatever brings the neighborhood together and gets people off their screens. Create a map of places Add places that are important to the local community—from your favorite coffee shop, to a dog park, to an artisan bakery. You can also hide certain places from tourists—visible only to neighbors. 

NEW: A city game in your neighborhood Your neighborhood, your city – can become a game board. We've added a brand new city game and local challenges feature to the app, allowing you to: create your own games and tasks in your neighborhood participate in games added by other residents discover previously unknown places in your city earn points, badges, and climb the player leaderboard This is a completely new way to discover your neighborhood – through movement, fun, and shared experiences. You get out of the house, complete tasks, get to know the neighborhood and the people – and your ranking increases along the way. You don't have to go far for adventure – sometimes you just need to go for a walk and look around the corner.
