Paula’s activity detection learns routines based on electricity consumption and sends notifications when unusual deviations occur. With the Paula emergency button, you can call for help whenever you need it.

How it works:

Paula analyzes household electricity consumption and automatically detects everyday routines. If unusually low electricity consumption is detected — for example, because no activity is registered after a fall — Paula checks in. If there is no response, stored contact persons are immediately informed via push notification. This activity detection runs unobtrusively in the background while consistently protecting your privacy. Installing the Paula Box is simple and takes only a few minutes. In this way, Paula helps detect falls or emergencies at home more quickly — discreetly, reliably, and without cameras or additional sensors.

For even greater safety, Paula can also be used with an intelligent emergency button — at home and on the go. Whether young or old, Paula helps people live safely and independently in their familiar home for longer — with the reassuring feeling of not being alone in an emergency.

Key features:

1. Automatic detection of unusual deviations Based on electricity consumption, Paula detects when familiar routines — such as switching on the coffee machine or cooking on the stove — do not occur. If expected activities are missing, you receive a notification. If there is no response, your stored trusted contacts are automatically informed via the Paula app.

2. Emergency button with fall detection With the Paula emergency button, you can actively call for help at any time. When the button is pressed, the contact persons stored in the Paula app are informed via push notification and SMS. The emergency button can react to strong impacts that may indicate a fall and, in this case, automatically trigger an alarm. The current location (GPS information) is sent directly to the contact persons. A direct voice connection is also possible via the button.

3. Clear notification history All events and notifications are clearly displayed in the app. This allows relatives and trusted contacts to stay informed at all times and know immediately when support may be needed.

4. Flexible management of contact persons In the Paula app, you can store your trusted contacts and adjust them flexibly at any time — whether family members, neighbors, or caregivers. In an emergency, they are automatically notified and can respond quickly.

5. Tips for greater safety at home Paula provides helpful recommendations for a safer everyday life at home — from simple measures to practical safety solutions for greater independence and quality of life.

6. Data protection & privacy Paula analyzes only household electricity consumption — without cameras, microphones, or access to personal content. All data is processed securely in Europe in compliance with GDPR.
