Limelight is an app that has a watchlist and a recommendations feature. if you're like me, and you only watch movies and shows casually, then that's basically all this app will be. the lack of individual episode tracking is a bit odd, but not a huge deal breaker for me. i'm not sure why such basic features, like the top 10s leaderboard and the ability to hide films or add them to custom lists, are locked behind a monthly subscription. if i didn't know better, i'd assume this was to nickel and dime, but devs gotta eat too i suppose. i only wished they took the Apollo route- have simple features locked behind a one-time purchase, and more expensive features (like notifications) locked behind subscriptions. regardless of the bizarre paywalling, this app does indeed have a watchlist and a recommendations feed, which is pretty much the only thing i need. something nice and private to break away from Reelgood.

It’s hard to track anything with this app. There is no continue watching feed to see what’s next on your list. You can’t even mark tv show episodes as seen individually so how can you tell where in the series you are? This seems like a new app that needs a lot of work and most of the cool features are behind a paywall. Stick to TVTime it’s free and does tracking the right way.
