Bookovery Book Recommendations

I swiped on a bunch of books but it kept feeding me choices from series I already swiped as bad. Didn’t help me find a book I wanted to read. It also forces you to login with your email instead of using a login / password to remain anonymous. Edit: No. You forcing us to give you our email address is not better for privacy. It’s better for your marketing. And you do not need an account for recommendation. You can generate a unique token for that.

Saw this mentioned on Reddit so I downloaded it to give it a try. It requires creating/using an account via “Sign-in with Apple”. I do not create accounts just to try apps and I see zero reason to require an account for this. So unfortunately I could not even try the core functionality of the app. You’re not the only developer to do this but find it unacceptable across the board. This review is the best way I see to give feedback and try to stop everyone from requiring sign-ins for no reason. When you remove that requirement, post another deal on r/AppHookup and I’ll give it a try.
