User Reviews

User reviews are largely negative about the new Rotowire app. Positives center on in-season usefulness (news alerts, waiver tools) and cross-platform league management. The majority of feedback focuses on downsides: a price-increase subscription model, stability issues, missing/delayed features, limited scoring customization, and syncing problems across devices (including ESPN leagues). Overall, season-long functionality shows potential, but stability and feature parity remain major concerns.
Pros
  • In-season features like real-time news alerts and improved waiver-wire tools improve usefulness during the fantasy season.
  • Cross-platform season-long usability with league import/sync helps keep data available across devices.
  • Draft-related data/tools (Draft Assist) remain useful for some users.
Cons
  • Switch to a subscription model with a higher price, replacing the previous one-time purchase.
  • Frequent crashes, bugs, and reliability issues during drafts and in-season use.
  • Key features are missing or delayed (trade tool coming soon, no live auction inflation) and not ready for prime time.
  • Limited customization of scoring and keeper settings; cannot reproduce some league rules.
  • Partial mobile parity and syncing problems between iOS app and web, plus difficulty syncing ESPN leagues on mobile.

Old app was much better. New app doesn’t allow users to rank players. Force feeds you AI generated rankings. Not worth the money.

For some reason I just found out I’ve been charged $20.12 for the past 10 months after using the app for 1 day. And on top of it the new app is more than 2x the price of the older better version. Stay far away from these criminals.
