Geo is a news portal and networking platform focused on promoting positive change. We are non-profit, user-supported, open-source, and ad-free.

Geo is composed of members and admins.Everyone is free to join Geo. Our admins include activists, community leaders, and cause-oriented entrepreneurs.

Here are some of the things members can do on Geo:

• Stay current on news about the environment, culture, and activism.
• Choose your favorite feeds and bookmark posts.
• Create long-format articles to share on the web on an ad-free, safe, and secure platform.
• Network with other users and admins.
• Join the conversation and share your thoughts about current events.
• Find vetted donation gateways to help those in need.
• Follow and interact with other users.
• Flag inappropriate content and posts for removal.

Admins can do everything that members can do. Admins can also:

• Post to the live news channel.
• Have the opportunity to be highlighted as a “featured activist,” which rotates monthly.
• Promote entrepreneurial cause-oriented projects.
• News posts here are free from hate speech and misinformation.
