Start with the essentials at no cost: current conditions, hourly and daily forecasts, weather alerts where available, Next Hour precipitation where supported, and useful details including feels-like temperature, humidity, wind, UV index, and visibility. Air quality from AirNow appears in supported U.S. locations when data is available.

Sprinkle Forecast turns the forecast into a concise broadcast-style story. A virtual meteorologist presentation pairs synchronized forecast tiles with closed captions, practical planning cues, simple weather explainers, and occasional Sky Watch notes. The free preview gives you a quick forecast highlight. PRO unlocks the complete briefing sequence and Full Brief for a deeper look at what matters now and what is coming next.

In supported U.S. locations, PRO adds an observed NOAA/NWS radar loop covering the past hour. Rain Forecast is a separate outlook built from NDFD rain-chance guidance and NOAA/WPC precipitation forecasts, with views for Rain Chance and Rain Amount. It is forecast guidance, not live radar, and conditions can change.

PRO also unlocks animated weather backgrounds and icons, richer weather details such as dew point, cloud cover, heat index, wind chill, and precipitation intensity, plus significant changes and added historical context.

Sprinkle is designed to stay readable and calm as conditions change. VoiceOver-friendly labels support key forecast information, layouts adapt to larger text and Display Zoom, and animations respect Reduce Motion.

Forecasts and alerts come from Apple Weather. Radar and Rain Forecast imagery comes from NOAA/NWS services, and supported U.S. air-quality observations come from AirNow. Availability varies by location and data source.

Sprinkle Weather! includes an optional PRO subscription for the expanded briefing, map guidance, animated presentation, and advanced details. Core forecasts remain available without PRO.
