Lexi: Vocabulary Crosswords

Front-loaded with 2200 SAT words. Memorizing definitions accomplishes little. Train in-context application instead. Check out the description for details.

Lexi is systematically effective for permanently expanding your vocabulary: -- over 15k meticulously procured words are presented roughly in order of rarity for maximal real-world utility per unit time spent -- proprietary augmentation of spaced repetition maximizes learning efficiency for long-term retention -- neural-hook-images take advantage of the superiority of visual-spatial memory for more stable retention (and improved understanding) -- in-context application is trained rather than rote memorization so that you truly integrate words into your lexicon -- synonym comparisons are available so you can see the nuanced differences between similar words -- optional and customizable reminders scheduled dynamically based on your progress encourage optimal recall-schedule adherence -- user feedback for all items (definitions, images, clues) is easy to perform and closely listened to (you can also report bugs or submit feature requests in settings!) -- multiplayer allows you to play with friends!
