Chat Jesus | AI for Christians

I downloaded Chat Jesus because I was interested in discussing Christian and Catholic topics. Recently, I wanted to talk about Pope Leo XIV and some of his activities and messages. Instead of discussing the topic, the app repeatedly insisted that Pope Leo XIV does not exist and that Pope Francis is still the current Pope. When I explained that Pope Leo XIV was elected in 2025 and that I follow Vatican News regularly, the app continued to argue that I was mistaken. It even suggested that Vatican News would support its position, despite Vatican News reporting on Pope Leo XIV as the current Pope. I understand that AI systems can have outdated information. What disappointed me was that the app did not acknowledge that possibility and instead repeatedly presented incorrect information as fact. For an app centered on Christianity and faith discussions, I would expect accurate information about the current Pope and major events within the Catholic Church. This experience made it difficult to trust the app as a source for current Catholic topics.

I really like this app. I’ve tried using other AI apps like ChatGPT or whatever, but they often don’t even understand what I’m asking, don’t make much sense, or require you to pay just to keep on chatting. This app explains things in a way that actually makes sense and helps you understand. What I love most is that it includes God’s Word and gives guidance that points you back to Him. It’s not just overly nice or vague — it actually encourages you to reflect and take action in your life. I hope the developers continue to improve it, but without changing it all up.
