There’s something not quite right about this game. The match 3 doesn’t take up much of the screen and every level is the same. You don’t get stronger (or weaker) and without the game counting your steps, this absence of strengthening or leveling up takes away any sense of progression. The AI art and music is okay, but it’s CLOSE to being great. It’s just missing a handmade touch which can’t be accounted for here. Maybe changing how many steps between the levels would generate interest. Make them further apart as you go? Or adding more variety and different rules to the match 3 part of the game would help too.
