User Reviews

Fly n Eat is praised for a compelling idea—planning meals around flights and finding restaurants near airports. When users can log in, it can be useful for frequent travelers and delivers on its promise. However, persistent login issues, crashes, and gating core features behind a pricey subscription hamper use. Search results and maps are inconsistent and aviation-specific needs aren’t well met. UI stability problems and privacy concerns around location access further frustrate users. The concept has potential, but bugs and pricing keep it from widespread adoption.
Pros
  • Great idea for planning meals around flights.
  • Makes it easy to find destination restaurants near airports and plan meals around travel.
  • When login and access work, the app delivers on its promises and is useful for frequent flyers.
  • Viewed as a valuable concept with potential by multiple reviewers.
Cons
  • Frequent login failures and app crashes during setup and use.
  • Subscription model gates core features with high prices and no trial.
  • Search results and maps are limited or not aviation-focused (airports not shown, results show only addresses).
  • UI stability issues and crashes on devices (e.g., iPad) and stalls during account creation.
  • Location permissions and push notifications raise privacy concerns.

I tried it months ago and couldn’t get the log in to work. I filled a bug report and the author called me - real nice guy. Decided to give it another try and unfortunately it’s still a mess. Which is a shame because something like this is a great idea

I made an account and paid, then it asked me to make a profile. I checked to agree to terms of service and it wouldn’t let me submit the form so I couldn’t actually access the app.
