Overall sentiment is highly positive: Koppa provides real-time pronunciation feedback, strong writing practice, and a multimodal learning path that combines reading, speaking and writing with helpful notes and engaging extras. Users find it intuitive and motivating, with features like playback and color/pen customization enhancing memory. Some requests include an early difficulty setting and a more robust erase tool for writing, but these do not overshadow the app’s strong teaching value and potential for subscription.

I gave this a solid try… I think the writing is quite good, well, as good as scribbling on a screen can get which for me is the same chicken scratch I spent decades having to work hard to avoid when writing prescriptions before they just made them electronic😂, and having polite and casual forms is great… (I already knew Hangul characters from other apps so went straight to phrases since I want to get better at spelling which is mainly a matter of syllable breaks for me, that and syllables ending in ㅅ/ㅆ or ㅎ which trip me up a bit.) I REALLY wish the speaking part of this wouldn’t keep insisting it cannot detect my greeting; I could hear it clearly, and it isn’t as if it is going to be 7 seconds long, so the “too short” probably means under half a second. After trying over and over, even going to other sections and working then coming back, I am giving up for now and uninstalling it since that was the top feature I wanted to see. If it hangs on hello, I think I am meant to say goodbye. My mic works fine, but perhaps it was created with the expectation of a phone microphone and not a tablet one. I even spoke straight into it in a quiet room in the dead of night, and it consistently failed to register that it had audio to compare… or maybe the software was bugging out every time I tried. I hope they can fix it and am at least glad it seems to work for others, perhaps people using phones, instead. One last feedback: in the writing section for phrases, consider having the speed button to slow it down and maybe with time have a male and female for reading them as for me the female voice range is easier/more clear sounding with Korean in general than lower male tones that seem to get too quiet for many sound patterns.

To little control, I want to go back or skip but can’t find a way.
