Connect through taste with authentic profiles. See what friends are into, follow thoughtful curators, and discover media through real recommendations—not faceless algorithms. All your interests live in one profile—no bots, no Photoshop. Organize what you love with tags, link Spotify for tailored music suggestions, and browse a massive library of hundreds of thousands of titles ready to rate and review. User Reviews

Users praise Podiums for its ambitious, cross-media rating system, clean UI, and the ability to rate and review movies, music, shows, games, and more in one place, with social sharing and friend comparisons. The main drawbacks are UI/UX friction and performance: the new grid view is disliked and users want a toggle to switch to list; there are glitches and loading issues as the catalogue grows; and the rating flow can feel clunky. Despite these, reviewers see strong potential and many say it’s a stellar concept that could surpass competitors with refinements and more features (e.g., books, export).
Pros
  • Clean, modern UI and UX that makes the app feel polished.
  • Unified cross-media rating system that covers movies, music, shows, games, etc., with easy comparisons.
  • Social features: share with friends and compare rankings, with the ability to add photos in reviews.
  • All-in-one platform for reviewing multiple media types (movies, music, podcasts, etc.).
Cons
  • New grid view is unpopular; users want the option to toggle between grid and list for better navigation.
  • Performance and stability issues: glitches, items not loading, and slower performance as the catalog grows.
  • Rating flow can feel clunky or unintuitive, making it a bit hard to rate new items smoothly.

i love this app so far it’s great one thing i would like to see added is the ability to rate concepts… i should be able to compare grapes to The National Anthem by Radiohead

Reminds me a lot of Beli, which has a similar rating system with food. But yes this app works, and yes, it’s amazing! I will say though I would love for it to be expanded, particularly having a “recs” system similar to Beli that can give you recommended games, movies, shows, etc depending on what you’ve already rated. Also, it’d be great if data could be exported into a CSV file. Other than that, though, stellar! Finally, I have a small critique with the vibe rating system: when you rate an album “good” it effectively works the same as the “amazing” button. I’d like it if albums you rate as “good” could end up going into the 6/10 range instead of it being hard capped at 7/10. 7/10 is wayyy too high of a threshold for “good” albums.

Sharing it with all my friends. This is a great concept, executed perfectly. Amazed that such a small app has a better UX than Letterboxd.
