Raelaxians

RaeLaxians absolutely nails the retro arcade look, with enemy waves and visuals that feel pulled straight from an old cabinet. Unfortunately, the authenticity comes with a steep price: the game is far too hard for its own good. You move and fire at the same time, with no real control separation, which makes dodging feel clumsy and aiming feel accidental rather than skillful. Enemy ships fire faster than you can react and often slam directly into you as you try to maneuver out of the way. Instead of feeling challenging, it feels cheap and unavoidable. RaeLaxians has the foundation of a great throwback shooter, but the punishing difficulty and restrictive controls make it frustrating rather than fun.

It’s pretty good for a recreation, just no transparency for images, and besides that only a few behaviour differences taking the game harder, but besides that actually pretty good
