HLS - MHSSP

The Meghalaya Health System Strengthening Project (MHSSP) is using an innovative approach to enhance the quality of healthcare in the public health facilities. This will be realised through the periodic assessments and capacity building of nurses and doctors using a Healthcare Learning System (HLS). This tool includes detailed case scenarios of clinical conditions that need to be managed at the public health facilities.

Clinical case scenarios are proven to be an excellent way of assessment of the knowledge and skills of healthcare providers and an effective learning tool for building capacities. Healthcare providers will use this online learning platform to learn to better manage common emergencies and medical conditions as per the national guidelines and standards of care in these areas.
