Don’t, just don’t. The worst app experience of the hundreds of apps I have used in the past 15 years. If you are into frustration and time wasting, then give it a go

I wasted way too much time trying to update the firmware on my A229Pro. After two days trying, I called support and spoke with John. He explained that I was doing the hard way and that I just needed to grab the new App. Once installed and connected, the app immediately prompted me to update the firmware, and it just happened. This is a massive improvement, especially since I never got the firmware upgraded before. I don’t feel this version is particularly intuitive, but progress has definitely been made.
