Green Acres Golf Club

Green Acres is ideally located just a few kilometres from Melbourne’s city centre. Boasting a rich heritage dating back to 1948, Green Acres has an 18 hole golf course, modern clubhouse and golf centre.

Since the then Governor, Sir Dallas Brookes, played the first stroke in December 1950, the Club has played an active role in the Victorian golfing community. Apart from winning numerous men’s and women’s pennants in inter-club competitions, Green Acres has hosted the annual Boroondara Cup in conjunction with neighbouring Kew Golf Club, the Yarra Courses Open and many VGA and WGV sponsored events.

Green Acres Golf Club has also become known for its popular summer clinics, which introduce the game to a new generation of golfers, and the Annual Charity Day which has raised many hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities since 1961.
