As a DeafBlind woman, the UV light feature helps me identify the shapes of food in grocery stores and safely cross intersections. While I was crossing an intersection alone, the camera cut out mid crossing and a “Please pay” screen appeared. I cannot afford $6 per week for a tool I only need once a week when I leave the house. The description said the feature could be used “with limits,” which I understood as limited features, not a time limit. That wording was misleading. Losing the camera in the middle of a street crossing is dangerous. The lack of clear disclosure about the time restriction is both appalling and a serious accessibility failure.
