There are elements of this game that are fantastic. The gameplay is simple and straightforward, the music is good, and there are time-based challenges that add to the fun. Despite the good, there is at least one major problem: very tiny gains for a disproportionately huge cost. Finally earn enough green gems to research an upgrade? It’ll benefit you by .01%. Spend several hours collecting and making ingredients to make other things that’ll sell for a lot of money so you can invest in decreasing production time only to burn through 300k to decrease it by .1% at .01% increments. Good games can be negatively impacted by being made too easy or too cumbersome and this is the latter. Is it good? Yes. Is it worth the effort in the long run? Meh.

I feel like we need more ovens now that we have villagers but overall love the game . I just wish I could cook more and get more coins to fill upgrade my island and have some saved for the next update.
