Hummus Republic App

I really don’t know what to say here. I just don’t think the app is a smooth as it could be. In this day and age we see apps that are great, and some that aren’t so great. I’d rate this better than most, but not great. I like the food though.

I can honestly say this place is amazing. I stopped in because the restaurant I originally wanted to visit was closed, and I was hoping to make a healthier choice. I ordered a custom gyro, sweet potato fries, and an unsweetened tea, and everything was delicious. I was seriously impressed by the hospitality as well. Five stars all the way — I’m hooked. The food was affordable, fresh, and made with quality ingredients, with plenty of healthy options to choose from. And the sweet potato fries were absolutely amazing. The woman at the front desk was especially kind, which made the whole experience feel welcoming and almost like home. I’ll definitely be back and hope the consistency stays just as great as my first visit.

It says the bowls are Bogo in the app. The Bogo does not work. Okay whatever. I was still going to try it. I go to pay the full price in the app, then the payment processor fails. I used Apple Pay and then tried another method. Overall terrible experience. I’ve never been to Hummus Republic and was looking forward to trying it. Guess I won’t.
