Raptor® Safe™ is a comprehensive app designed to enhance safety and streamline processes for school communities. The app simplifies check-in with secure, fast and convenient entry at schools that have Raptor® VisitorSafe™. The Raptor Safe app provides visitors to the school with the ability to manage and verify their identity. When visiting a school, the visitor’s secure QR code is used to streamline the process while advancing overall security. With Raptor® DismissalSafe™, the Raptor Safe app provides parents/guardians with user-friendly access to easily manage their student’s dismissal plans and carpools.

Raptor Passport: Verify your identity before arriving at school, allowing for a seamless sign-in experience.
Manage Student Dismissal Changes: View and make changes to your student’s dismissal plans.
Manage Your Carpool: Provide authorization for others to pick your student up from school during end-of-day dismissal.

The Raptor Safe app is available to all parents/guardians at schools using Raptor DismissalSafe, as well as visitors at schools using Raptor VisitorSafe. If you have questions, please contact your school.

Raptor Technologies collects your personal data : name, date of birth, partial license number, and photo, every time you visit your child’s school, yet deliberately excludes visitor data from their public facing privacy policy. When I contacted them directly to understand how long my data is retained and to request deletion, they deflected me back to the school district. The school deflected me back to them. Meanwhile, in January 2024, Raptor exposed over 4 million records: including visitor driver’s license data , in an unsecured cloud database with no password protection. There is no publicly stated fixed retention period for your data, no transparency about third party sharing, and no straightforward path to deletion. This app is installed in schools across the country and parents are given no meaningful choice but to comply. Every parent scanning their license at a school front desk deserves to know exactly what they are consenting to and right now, Raptor makes sure you cannot easily find out.
