OHS Summer & Auxiliary

At Oak Hall Middle, bright and bold, We step outside the classroom mold. With curious hearts and minds set free, We chase the world beyond what we see. One morning ride, the bus rolls out, With lunch-packed bags and cheers and shouts. To science centers, parks, and shores, Each trip unlocks new learning doors. We’ve wandered through the museum halls, Stared wide-eyed at the fossil walls, Touched the past in ancient stone, And felt how far our minds have grown. We’ve hiked through woods with muddy boots, Learned leaf from leaf, and root from root. Heard nature’s secrets on the breeze, And sketched our thoughts beneath the trees. At planetariums, stars took flight, Galaxies spinning into night. We reached for Mars with open hands, And dreamed of far-off cosmic lands. We’ve watched the dolphins arc and dive, Seen ecosystems spring alive, Met zookeepers and asked them why The tiger paces, or birds fly high. But best of all are moments shared— That silly joke, the seat we dared, The memories in the gift shop bought, And everything the trip has taught. So here’s to buses, trails, and maps, To learning with a side of laughs, From Oak Hall’s doors, we take our stride, With every field trip—worlds collide.
