“Sivananda Lahari” means the incessant waves of bliss obtained through deep meditation on Bhagavan Shiva. Sri Adi Sankara Bhagavatpada composed these divine verses while seated in the depths of the forest of Srisailam, Andhra Pradesh, India. “Sivananda Lahari” is a pinnacle of devotion, combining the unique and lucid poetic style of Sri Adi Sankaracharya. When chanted with surrender (Saranagati) to Lord Shiva, it bestows inner peace, spiritual elevation, bliss, and alleviates many difficulties in one’s life.

HH Parama Pujya Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji blessed devotees to learn, memorize and practice chanting of the Shivananda Lahari Slokas. Datta Peetham Asthana Vidwan Sri Raveendra Boggaram an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman is a volunteer & teacher at the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple, Frisco, TX. He is a disciple and staunch devotee of Parama Pujya Sri Ganapathy Saccidananda Swamiji of Avadhoota Datta Peetham.
