To be fair, it's probably a combination of the app and the tool I'm trying to connect--but it's a crapshoot whether it will connect after 10 tries or just not at all. I would never buy another thing that uses this app to connect because what a waste of money

Apps is not able to connect But WiFi server is connected. Just says unable to load when you press connect. iPhone 17 max pro iOS 26.3. Unable to contact tech support it’s all in Chinese

Works great! I thought it was not working because I was trying to connect via bluetooth to the device. The solution is to connect via WiFi like if you were trying to connect to your internet router
