User Reviews

Wick excels as a free, all-in-one study planner with strong Canvas/calendar integration and a text-based AI assistant that adds tasks and reminders. Users repeatedly praise the calendar syncing, workflow consolidation, and useful study timers. However, several reviews flag UI/UX usability issues and a recurring loading/login instability, which can hinder first-use and ongoing access. A few also note occasional notification issues. Overall, Wick is a powerful productivity tool for students when it runs smoothly, especially for those who want an integrated calendar + task manager with AI help.
Pros
  • Canvas/calendar integration (Canvas, Google Calendar) keeps deadlines and events in one place.
  • Text-based AI assistant and reminder texts that add tasks and reminders, including recurring events.
  • All-in-one planner: tasks, events, focus timers, and calendar across school, personal, and work life.
  • Free to use and integrates with major tools (Canva, Google Calendar, Canvas, etc.).
Cons
  • UI/UX usability issues: initial confusion and some texting UI feels awkward or non-intuitive.
  • Loading/login instability: crashes on the loading screen and getting stuck at login on multiple attempts.
  • Push notifications don’t work reliably for some users.

Love this app. Having Autism and ADHD it really helps me complete what I need to get done. The text remindeds are great. Would love to be able to access it from my Apple Watch.

The UI and UX is kinda mid it feels slightly unfamiliar and confusing at first. Like why does the chat thing appear in all pages? Honestly I am not sure if this app is productive if we already have all the features in the app on our phones in the first place but it’s kinda cool ig.
