*Greetings It is with great pleasure and pride that I welcome you to the 40th Anniversary Symposium of the Korean Glaucoma Society, taking place on November 22-23, 2024, in the vibrant city of Seoul.

Since our foundation in 1984, the Korean Glaucoma Society has grown to include 286 dedicated members who are committed to advancing glaucoma research, education, and patient care. Over the past four decades, we have established a proud tradition of excellence and innovation in ophthalmology.

This year, as we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we are pleased to host an international symposium that brings together distinguished speakers and esteemed colleagues from around the world. This event promises to be a unique opportunity for sharing the latest research, clinical practices, and collaborative efforts to enhance glaucoma treatment and patient outcomes.

Our comprehensive program includes keynote lectures and scientific sessions, featuring both local and international experts. Sessions such as "Hot Topics in Glaucoma," "Clinical Debates in Glaucoma," and "New Insights into Glaucoma," alongside our international sessions, are designed to cover a wide range of topics reflecting the latest advancements and ongoing challenges in glaucoma care.
