User Reviews

Warehouse Runner is praised for its deal finding and price data, especially helpful for Costco shoppers and clearance items, with rapid data updates. However, reviewers repeatedly flag major drawbacks: data accuracy and timeliness problems, weak search and filtering, pricey subscription and paywall, recurring bugs, and troublesome location controls. Overall, it shows strong potential but current reliability and pricing limit its value.
Pros
  • Helps Costco shoppers find deals across stores and saves time, gas, and money.
  • Offers broad price data across stores with frequent updates for price tracking.
  • Helpful for locating clearance items and discounts.
  • Positive sentiment about the app's value and potential for shoppers.
Cons
  • Inaccurate or outdated inventory and pricing data across stores; items shown as in stock or discounted but not actually available.
  • Limited search functionality and filters; cannot easily search for specific items or view price history as needed.
  • High subscription price and paywall requirements; premium features feel expensive and sometimes overpriced for what is offered.
  • Bugs and reliability issues including empty screens, bugs after updates, and difficulty reporting problems.
  • Location controls are awkward; users cannot easily disable location or change zip, leading to irrelevant results.

3 local locations show 2 highly and one low in stock. How about zero because I checked against the Costco App. And shop there weekly. It hasn’t even exist for the last 5 months. Use the Costco App is way better.

the developers got greedy hiding features behind paywall. Deleting.

I was looking for a specific item so bought a month subscription. Turns out all the deals were across the country. The search function is very limited, I’m not actually able to easily search for thing (categories are huge - I don’t need to see candles when all I’m looking for is furniture for my new apartment). If there was a week free trial or the price point was much cheaper this app would make more sense. If I find some value in the remaining month I’ll change this review.
