What is GoodOrg?

GoodOrg is an innovative and user-friendly community service tracker, designed to help organizations effortlessly manage and monitor their community service activities. Perfect for nonprofits, schools, clubs, and other community-focused groups, GoodOrg simplifies the process of recording, tracking, and showcasing volunteer hours and contributions. By connecting organizations with individuals eager to make a difference, GoodOrg empowers communities to amplify their impact and foster greater engagement with volunteers.

When you first join GoodOrg, you have the option to create an account with an existing organization or establish a new organization for which you will be designated as an admin. User information can be edited through the settings tab located in the profile page, allowing updates to profile pictures, names, and bios. Admins also have access to organizational settings. If a user chooses to delete their account, this can be done through the settings tab. When an admin deletes their account, the user who has been a member of the organization the longest is promoted to admin status. If no members remain, the organization profile is deleted. Currently, new organizations are limited to the basic plan, which allows up to five users per organization with the ability to track up to five services each. Premium plans, with unlimited membership and tracking capabilities, will be available soon.

GoodOrg makes it easy to log community service or donations. Simply proceed to the share page, enter the service details, and submit. Your service will appear on your profile page and in the feeds associated with your organization. Individual contributions are tracked in real-time, and your cumulative hours and services are reflected in your profile. These contributions also add to the organization’s total hours and services.

The home page is your gateway to all the services and activities within your organization. Selecting the postings tab displays all services performed by the organization, along with details such as images, service recipients, service type, and user descriptions. Selecting the members tab reveals a profile card for the organization, outlining its total contributed hours, member count, and other details. Each member of the organization has an individual profile card displaying their respective contributions and activities. GoodOrg also enables organizations to export service data through a convenient "export to CSV" feature, making it easy to report or analyze activities outside of the app.
