Recent reviews

The iPhone app doesn’t have any ability to get on the waitlist, which is the list I’m typically on. We love the concept of Freedom Boat Club, but the math no longer works for a Seattle summer. There is a clear bottleneck during prime boating hours (2–6PM) where member demand heavily outweighs boat availability. Restricting availability mostly to morning slots (10AM–2PM) doesn't align with how people actually boat here. At $5,000 a year, paired with recent price increases, getting on the water just once or twice a season isn't a sustainable return on investment. We hope the club will adjust fleet sizes to better serve afternoon demand, but unfortunately, we will be canceling our membership for the upcoming year.

For the most part the app works great. Great for making reservations and finding locations on the map respective to your area. I really wish the app would allow for reviews of the actual boats and to allow you to add to waitlist. It would also be helpful if you could access the address of the club on your reservations.
