User Reviews

User feedback highlights Redzone's strength in analytics and frontline collaboration but notes reliability and notification issues. Reviews praise real-time metrics (OEE, labor efficiency, SPC) and the ability to log problems and support floor-wide communication, with some appreciating switching between the new and legacy interfaces and the positive cultural impact on production teams. However, multiple users report frequent freezes, lag, and slow data retrieval that hinder downtime tracking. Notification control is lacking, with noisy or unreliable alerts and limited customization. There are usability gaps in chat features, such as tagging, photo attachments, and chat navigation.
Pros
  • Robust manufacturing analytics with real-time metrics such as OEE, labor efficiency, and SPC, enabling data-driven decisions.
  • Strong on-floor collaboration via chats and forums that improve communication and alignment on profitability.
  • Positive cultural impact on frontline workers, giving them visibility and a voice in production performance.
Cons
  • Reliability and performance issues, including frequent freezes, lag, and slow data retrieval.
  • Poor notification control with noisy, unreliable alerts and limited customization.
  • Chat and communication feature limitations, such as tagging/lookup problems and restricted attachments/navigation.

Horrible and way behind in time for tracking downtime.

Expensive to deploy, time consuming to maintain, just so you can never launch the app because it takes a frustratingly long time to derive usable information from it. The TV will show random information cycling through various screens that you can’t make heads or tails of. They promise “you will know instantly if a line is running” but you can’t tell at all. You put the ability of the operator to tag people, but they always tag the wrong people who can actually fix the issue because there is no title look up. Want to message a controls engineer but don’t know their name? Just message the entire company, they will see it.
