Stop having house pay reset the tip amount when someone leaves and re- enters the app. If I enter the app to look at my total and change the tip amount to 10% (I’m in Spain where you should be luck for ANY tip), then lock my phone and come back in a few minutes later to pay, don’t reset the tip amount to 20%. It’s SO annoying and has happened enough times to leave a bad review about it. It’s literally designed to trick the user. It’s deceptive practices and makes me so mad at soho every time it happens. FIX IT. Even if the server adds or removes something on the app, the tip percentage you selected shouldn’t change!
