Gujarat State Yog Board

In order to spread the gift of Indian culture 'Yoga' to the whole world, 21st June was declared as 'World Yoga Day' by the Prime Minister of India Hon.Narendrabhai Modi, following which it was decided to celebrate 21st June as World Yoga Day from 2015 by the United Nations. To fulfill this resolution, "Gujarat State Yog Board" has been formed by the Government of Gujarat of Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Gandhinagar.Through the Gujarat State Yoga Board formed by the Government of Gujarat, the purpose is to promote yoga activities and spread yoga to the masses in the entire state and create an atmosphere about yoga among the people and improve the mental health and physical health of the people through yoga. The purpose of the Yoga Board is to encourage every citizen of the state to lead a healthy lifestyle and healthy life and to create awareness about yoga among the people. The Gujarat State Yoga Board is constantly working to bring yoga to the masses. Through which, through Gujarat State Yoga Board, to hire yoga coaches in all districts of Gujarat, as well as train yoga coaches to make trained yoga coaches. And to train up to 100 yoga trainers under each yoga coach. The work of starting yoga classes by these yoga trainers in their area under the yoga board is done by the board.
