Paired with Airwave hardware, Airwave Player lets you turn movement into music — summon a crescendo with a wave, add layers with a flick of the wrist, or subtly shape your sound with a gliding gesture.

The app comes packed with 150+ expressive presets, each designed to respond intuitively to Airwave’s Six Dimensions of Air: Air Raise: Lift your hands to add intensity and excitement to a sound Air Tilt: Take fine control by twisting your hands as if controlling a knob Air Glide: Move your hands from side to side to tweak your sounds further Air Slide: Move your hands from over the front of the keys towards the back Air Flex: Flex your wrists from straight ahead to downwards and back Air Grasp: Close your hand into a fist to stop the sound altogether

See stunning 3D visuals as you play — each hand is tracked on screen alongside each Dimension of Air, helping you nail every performance.

Airwave and the Airwave Player app are each designed with ROLI instruments in mind, and both pair perfectly with ROLI Pianos and Seaboard controllers. With a quick, on-screen calibration, it also works with both standard and MPE-enabled MIDI controllers, adding new dimensions of expression to the hardware you already own.

Airwave Player for iPad is free for all Airwave owners — simply sign into ROLI Connect and register your hardware to unlock the full sound library.
