Go on a journey and fight monsters... by playing poker hands!

This game can be played for free with one of the characters. Players have the option to purchase the full game, which unlocks the remaining characters.

User Reviews

Reviewers largely welcome the revival of Sword & Poker, praising nostalgia and solid mechanics. However, they repeatedly note the game is too short and lacks replay value, report several bugs and UX issues (tutorial lock, exit problems, rotation limits), and want more content (campaigns, levels, classes, weapons, and a store). The sentiment is enthusiastic about the concept but contingent on future updates addressing stability and depth.
Pros
  • Nostalgia and revival of the Sword & Poker vibe that fans loved.
  • Solid mechanics and engaging poker-hand-based combat.
  • Clear interest in ongoing updates and expansions with willingness to pay.
  • Accessible yet challenging gameplay that appeals to fans of the original.
Cons
  • Very short length with limited gameplay and replay value.
  • Bugs and UX issues reported across reviews (tutorial lock after update; exit/abort problems; rotation limitations).
  • Missing core features and content (campaigns, more levels/classes/weapons, in-game store).

I miss sword Poker 1 & 2 soooo much. If I had to guess, each provided about 40 hours of game play. And replay value. This game 1 hour. I purchased in hopes they will produce a real campaign game. If they do, I will pass this game on to my board game community. Giving it three stars as there is so little gameplay, or I would give it a 5.

The game is stuck in tutorial mode after the most recent iOS update, I can only fight training dummies now.
