User Reviews

Overall, reviewers consistently praise Bird App for its free-to-use model without aggressive monetization, its simple one-bird-a-day format that supports a calming daily routine, and its educational value with diverse bird species. The visuals and quotes are frequently highlighted as a strength, and NZ bird content broadens appeal. Reported drawbacks are isolated issues rather than systemic problems, such as a one-off bug about a specific day and occasional feature requests like missing species. In sum, the app scores highly for content quality, accessibility, and user experience.
Pros
  • No forced premium subscription and minimal monetization.
  • Simple, calming daily format (one bird a day) that helps establish a routine.
  • Strong educational content about birds and a wide variety of species.
  • Visually appealing visuals and quotes (aesthetics matter).
  • New Zealand bird content (NZ species) adds regional interest.

Not forcing you to buy a premium subscription!!! So great!!!! But you forgot one bird which is the paradise tanager (Tangara chilensis). It’s one of my favorite birds but you have all the other tanagers!!!! please add it! Thank you for reading and keep up the good work!😊🦜
