Jewelcase is the best music players I have found for managing and enjoying a locally synced iPhone library (and believe me I have tried many). It works well with music transferred through iTunes (or other imported music files), has a clean and thoughtful interface, powerful browsing and search tools, and reliable Last.fm integration tied directly to playback. I especially appreciate that it respects users who maintain their own music collections rather than requiring a streaming subscription or forcing files into a separate library. Features such as format information, library statistics, lyrics support, detailed metadata, and flexible playback controls make it feel very complete. The app is polished, actively maintained, and meaningfully usable without a subscription. Highly recommended for anyone with a carefully organized local music library.
