ExpressFlip is only compatible with iOS devices with Front-Facing TrueDepth Camera, the technology used by Face ID.

This app is meant to provide musicians, especially pianists, with a more elegant solution to flipping sheet music. Musicians can now use ExpressFlip to paginate PDF music scores with their facial expressions. Upon testing the application, please ensure that the front-facing camera picks up the entirety of the face. Some expressions include winking, grinning, and puffing cheeks. Users can mix and match expressions based on individual preferences. It's worth noting that it may take some practice and time to get used to its sensitivity. For further personalization, users can adjust the expression sensitivity that triggers a page turn. ExpressFlip can now also paginate PDF sheet music by enabling tapping by respective regions on a screen. Tapping the left side of the page will paginate backward while tapping the right side will paginate forward.

Tip for iPad users: flip your device around so that the front-facing camera is at the bottom. This is helpful for users who place their device on a grand piano stand since normal device orientation may cut off views of one's face.
