Mexico City Taqueria

I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. Today will be the last time I ever order anything from Mexico City. The last three times we have ordered takeout there has been something missing or made wrong. Having worked in the industry I understand that things can happen. Tonight I ordered an hour ahead of time. Ten minutes before my pickup time I got a text saying my time had been extended 10 minutes. No big deal. I arrived to pick up the order and it was still not ready. When they brought it out it was missing one of the items. When I questioned it I was told we tried to call you. Which was false. Then I was told oh no, we tried to text you. Which was also false. Then I was told they refunded me the item (haven’t seen that come through). I said fine and took the rest of the order home for my family. I ordered three crispy tacos with ground beef. Two of them were missing the protein and only had cheese in them. One of them had the remnants of ground beef but barely any. We ordered a quesadilla that was completely submersed in grease and not edible. And lastly we had a chicken tamale that was cold on the inside. It’s too bad to see how what was such a great place has gone completely downhill. We will not be ordering from here ever again.
