Features & Capabilities

Every debt, one clear picture. Intuitively designed. Know your debt-free date, see what goes to interest, and watch your balance go down. Your data stays on device.

PaidOff gives you one clear picture of everything you owe, then shows you month by month exactly how it ends.

Add your credit cards and loans and PaidOff builds the whole schedule: every payment, how much of it is interest, how much comes off the balance, and the month you hit $0. No sign-up, no bank login, nothing to pay for. Your numbers stay on your phone.

KEY FEATURES

• Your debt-free date. The month your last debt hits $0, and how long that is from today. If one of your debts isn't going to clear at what you're paying, it says that too instead of quietly leaving it out.

• Total debt over time. A chart of where your debt has been and where it's headed, against last year and your 12-month average. Tap it for where you land and how much of the rest of the ride is just interest.

• A statement for every month. The month opens at a starting balance, lists everything you recorded in the order it happened, and closes at what you owe. Tap any line to open the record behind it, or swipe it away.

• Payments that show their work. Log what you actually paid and see where the money went: how much covered interest, how much came off the balance, what you owe now. On a loan the interest comes out of the payment. On a card it lands at the close of the month. The statement tells you which.

• The adjustment line. When what you recorded and what PaidOff worked out don't match, the gap gets a line of its own instead of a number quietly bending. A purchase, an annual fee, or a payment you never logged shows up right there.

• Confirm a month once it's settled. Payments you planned stay unconfirmed until you say they happened, so your schedule never claims something you didn't do.

• A reminder on the day you pick. Set one on any debt, choose the day of the month and the time, and your phone tells you it's time to track what you paid. It opens straight to that debt.

• The full amortization schedule. Starting balance, payment, interest, principal, total interest, and ending balance for every month of every debt. It opens on today.

• Edit anything, one month or many. Change payments or balances across a run of months at once and the whole schedule recalculates. Even the first month's starting balance is yours to set.

• Your dates, not the calendar's. Say which day a card's statement closes and which day each payment lands, and every month is measured on your cycle instead of the 1st.

• Real APRs. Promotional rates, deferred interest, and more than one rate on the same card.

• Loans that haven't started yet. Plan one before it originates and it joins your schedule the month it begins.

• The honest warning. If what you're paying will never clear a balance, PaidOff tells you straight and shows you the payment that will.

• Private by design. Your financial data lives on your device, and your reminders are scheduled there too. No account. No bank passwords.

User Reviews

App is as advertised. Pretty good for a free app. I chose this app specifically because it didn’t require connection to a bank or nor did it need any personal information to function. There’s room for improvement but it’s not necessary. -After finalizing the data inputted for the debt, the user is unable to edit/alter the name again. Found out very quickly after the second submission when I noticed I misspelled something. -There’s not an option for customizing which debt you want to pay down first. Snowball, Avalanche and Mountain methods don’t work for everyone.

I found this while looking for a new financial app, I like this one because it’s geared more towards tracking debt which is what I was looking for actually. I love the graphs and information it shows me and it’s clear and easy to understand, there’s different strategies like snowball which I ended up using and it showed me how much interest I will save if I follow it. Looking forward to more updates from this developer.
