User Reviews

A majority of reviews complain that Transit.Tracker fails to provide real-time transit data, with inaccurate or missing arrival times, and often shows incorrect routes or locations. Users also complain about heavy, intrusive ads and paywalls that block access to maps and schedules. Several reports flag privacy concerns, including prompts to enter credit card details for a free app and even scam-like charges. Additional recurring issues include mislinked routes after service changes, unreliable performance requiring repeated re-downloads, and a frustrating user interface for switching between map and schedule. Overall, reliability and data accuracy are major pain points.
Pros
Cons
  • No real-time tracking or inaccurate arrival times; app often fails to show trains or buses.
  • Long, non-skippable ads and paywalls obstruct access to maps and schedules.
  • Privacy concerns: prompts for credit card details for a free app and reports of charges.
  • Map and route data inaccuracies: locations, stops, or cities shown incorrectly.
  • Reliability issues: outages, outdated routes after changes, and need to reinstall or update repeatedly.

Lousy in accurate and no map

I live in Philly and was trying to see on the map where my train is. I was hoping this would be better than the Septa app but it doesn’t show any trains. I couldn’t find any information about where the train was either. I found the app to be awkward to use and difficult to toggle between the map screen and schedule.
