K&H mobilbank is a secure mobile banking app that brings your bank right to your pocket. You can check your balance, adjust daily card limits, and initiate domestic payments to any Hungarian bank account number or secondary identifier. For convenience and security, you can log in without typing on a keyboard using mPIN or biometric authentication, and you can quickly view your card’s PIN when needed.

Some functions are available without login, including a branch and ATM locator with GPS, appointment bookings, general bank information, and K&H+ ticket validation. If you are a business client, you can switch between personal and business accounts. Other features include card activation/suspension, online cash loan requests with instant disbursement, and the option to choose mPIN or biometric authentication for login or transaction signing. Activation requires K&H e-bank credentials, and the app supports iPhone 6s+ with iOS 15.0+; jailbroken devices are not supported.

A régebbi app-ben egyértelmű volt a menü, minden funkciót könnyen meg lehetett találni. Ez az új abszolút nem letisztult, hiába nem először használom, mindig percekbe kerül, amíg megtalálok egy funkciót. Biztos nagy erőfeszítéseket tettek a fejlesztők a modernizálásba, de, hogy senki sem próbálta ki, hogy milyen használni, az tuti.

Coming as a US bank user, this application needs tremendous work for me to not hate opening it every time. Sure, it gets everything done but the point of a mobile app is convenient which it doesn’t provide much of. First, it takes about 4-5x as long to log in compared to US bank applications and twice as long as other European banks. With K&H it takes less time to log in through an internet browser than the app, defeating the purpose of this entire interface. There’s no option to change the amount of time after the app automatically logs you out and it’s quite short. I often times need to switch to a different app to transfer data and by the time I would come back to K&H, it logs me out. It’s seriously pretty dumb to use the app over their actual website. Another issue is the way it’s set up. I could really only describe it as a “brute” layout where again, it gets everything done, but in a very unfriendly way. Let me customize the home page and add functions I use most often to be most accessible to me. I want to see charts and graphs to help my budgeting and understand my finances not two-tone screens with numbers. Finally, using this app feels like it was designed by somebody who has no idea how a modern person would use a banking application. I can’t copy my own account number, I have to type it out number by number every time I want to give it to somebody. I frequently send money to the same people but I don’t have an option to do this with just 2-3 taps, it’s so ridiculously manual when it shouldn’t be. With my other bank, I send money by tapping on a contact with profile pictures and emojis. It’s personalized, easy to navigate and fun! I shouldn’t have to explain why these features increase satisfaction and efficiency to an app developer. K&H, figure it out because this app would’ve been unacceptable 4-5 years ago, let alone in 2022
