User Reviews

Users praise the app for its comprehensive networking tools and depth, finding it useful for IT work and learning protocols. However, recurring complaints focus on the switch to a subscription model that gates features after a free trial, pricing that many view as overpriced, and loss of legacy one-time licenses. Additional concerns include restricted help access and ongoing paywalls, plus distrust stemming from ownership changes and data-collection concerns. Overall, its usefulness is clear, but trust and cost barriers undermine long-term adoption for some users.
Pros
  • Extensive suite of networking tools with deep, actionable information for IT pros and home labs
  • Easy to use and helps users understand networking protocols
  • Valuable addition to an IT toolbox with practical network scanning and inspection
  • Flexible pricing with a free 7-day trial and multiple purchase options
  • Active developer presence and ongoing updates that support the toolset
Cons
  • Forced subscription after the trial; most features require ongoing payment
  • Perceived poor value and high ongoing costs for infrequent users
  • Loss of previously purchased license; legacy one-time purchase overridden by IAP
  • Help access and basic usage blocked until subscribing; heavy paywalls in place
  • trust/privacy concerns due to ownership changes and data-as-product practices

Excellent tool if you can get it to work with the api keys it would be even better. Shodan api does not work

Great for Security Researchers as a tool to learn and test system infrastructure. The digital Swiss Army knife. It’s designed for nontechnical users but built with security operators in mind. Due diligence has been minimal beyond reviews. Bliss is ignorant they say. ~9
